Baked apples are the perfect fall breakfast, and so easy to make. Adding Cocoa Butter onto delicious fresh apples adds good fats and sweetness without the sugar. With such a kid friendly flavor, this recipe is a great way to get in vitamins and minerals for the whole family. We love to top on our oatmeal, yogurt, and cereal, or smear on toast for the healthiest apple butter ever.

Baked Cocoa Butter Apples
PREP TIME5 minutes
COOK TIME 30-40 minutes
REST TIME 15 minutes
- 4 apples
- 4 tsp Cocoa Butter
- Golden Breakfast
- Preheat oven to 325F.
- Cut apples in half.
- Add pinch of Golden Breakfast and ½ tsp of Cocoa Butter on each half of apple.
- Put apples into baking dish or sheet pan. Cook for 30-40 minutes, turning once halfway.
- Brush the Cocoa Butter Golden Breakfast oil from pan onto the apples to make sure they don't dry out.
- Turn the oven off and leave in for 15 minutes to cool.
