In California, we eat a lot of chips and guacamole. Serving our Basic Kitcheri recipe with corn, plantain or vegetable chips can satiate that weekend snack craving crunch to keep you going with your reset.

1 tbsp Kitcheri Blend with Benefits
2 tbsp Golden Butter
½ cup Kitcheri Bowl mix
1 ½ cups water
Your favorite chips (we love Siete Foods Grain Free Tortillas)
A dollop of sour cream/crema/greek yogurt
Habanero chili’s (optional)
Wash Kitcheri mix until the water runs clear.
In a saucepan on medium heat, add Golden Butter, Kitcheri BWB.
Add in the Kitcheri Bowl, stir all around and cover with the Golden Butter, add in 1 ½ cups of water/stock. Bring to a boil and straight down to a low simmer.
Cover with the lid ajar is and cook on low heat until kitcheri is soft, about 30 minutes. Turn off the heat. Put on the lid and let rest for 15 minutes.
Serve with corn, chips, sour cream/crema, cilantro, and habanero chili’s if you want a kick.
