New Mother’s Postpartum Rice Pudding

PREP TIME15 minutes
COOK TIME 35 minutes
REST TIME 30 minutes to overnight
Servings: 5 (1/2 each cup)


  • 1 teaspoon of Golden Chai Blends with Benefits
  • 1 teaspoon of Mothers Breakfast Blends with Benefits
  • 2 teaspoons of Mother Honey
  • 1 cup white basmati rice (arborio or any short grain rice works too)
  • 1 14 oz. can of coconut milk or cream
  • 1 1/2 cups water


  1. In a small pot over low heat, combine rice and 1 1/4 cup of water, cover and cook for 10 minutes.
  2. in a separate pot, combine coconut milk, 1/4 cup water, and spices, and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add to rice, mix thoroughly, and simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Turn off heat, stir in honey, and cover.
  5. Let rest for at least 30 minutes and enjoy.
  6. This is even better the next day.
